Shubhra Das articulates her thoughts on canvas through mixed media, oil and acrylic paints. Her love for nature and her thinking that ‘nature is within us and we are nature’ – is depicted in almost all her paintings. She intertwines motifs such as birds, butterflies, roots of trees around human figures to create exquisite decorative art-pieces. She can be called a figurative as well as an abstract artist as she combines both these elements beautifully.
