The series of concentric circles in the present works emanate a prominent sense of meditative stillness and serenity. With an apt precision and control of line, Phudist delineates the circles which look very perfectly carved out. The simplified, minimalistic geometrical composition imbibes a serious, mature understanding of space and conceptual abbreviation. On a closer look the interstices between the two circles resemble sleek rounding paths that seem to be running towards the core of the structure. The mazes like patterns hold the viewers attention and direct it towards the centre point. The metallic colours uplift the work from the bindings of the physical world and mundane surroundings and accentuate its sublime, surrealistic aspects. At times, the background space of the central form is intricately textured with ambiguous, abstract patterns which beautifully break the strict perfection of the neat, geometrical lines of the circles.
